I paint to bring stillness into a world that rarely slows down.
My artistry was born out of real life — one filled with deep joy, unexpected turns and resilience. I started my adult life as a career aesthetician, drawn to the beauty industry because I enjoyed caring for people. That same desire to nurture led me to start a family. But midway through my second pregnancy, our world changed when we learned our baby would be born with Spina Bifida. In that moment, everything shifted. I stepped away from my career to be fully present with her and our toddler son. It wasn’t an easy decision, but it was the right one.
Years later, during a difficult season of illness for our daughter, I found myself carrying grief and emotional exhaustion. I knew I needed an outlet — one that allowed for space, reflection and healing. Being a life-long creative, naturally I returned to art. Painting propelled me and the more I painted, the more whole I became. What started as a form of personal therapy slowly transformed into a renewed sense of purpose that I felt compelled to share.
Working from my cozy home studio in Muskoka, Ontario, Canada, I handcraft heirloom-quality paintings that transform rooms into peaceful, restorative spaces. I primarily paint serene landscapes in oil and watercolour, though I occasionally explore still life and figurative scenes. Each piece is created with intention and care — artwork that invites calm and makes a house feel like home.
In this often overstimulating world, I hope my art will leave you with a sense of stillness and peace. It would be my pleasure to provide you with a piece of art that feels soothing to the mind and healing to the soul.
