American Beauty was inspired by my grandmother’s china. The Royal Dalton pattern on these salt and pepper shakers is titled American Beauty and feature delicate roses and sage green foliage. A true classic that makes a beautiful still life painting perfectly suited for a dining room or kitchen. It’s versatile size allows for more hanging options and makes a great gift for someone you love.
This painting was painted on 1/8” hardboard panel that was sealed first to prevent discolouration over time. Two coats of acrylic gesso were then applied before the oil paint. Once dry, a Gamvar gloss varnish was applied to seal and protect the painting.
For your convenience, your new artwork will come framed and ready to hang in a beautiful handmade Hemlock floater frame with the wiring hardware attached. Just unwrap and enjoy!
